Object Drawing

Within the practical session we had to draw a certain object within the room, i chose a toy truck as i liked the different shapes that made up the object. I started the drawing in my practical but had to finish it in my own time, i found it hard to complete as i didn't have the object with me at home but had the basic outline from the practical.

Figure Drawing

Practical Session...Eadweard Muybridge

Within the pracical we looked at Eadweard Muybridge and how he took images of people in motion. I tried this style and sketched the figures as they stood for each movement. i also sketched the motion of getting out a chair but decided to draw this overlapping each drawing.

Figure Drawing

I completed this work outside of the practical session i found it hard to draw figures in movement so i found a website that allowed you to set up time frames for drawing a still image of a figure, i drew each figure in two minutes. i found this a lot easier then drawing a figure in movement

Still Life

Practical Session

within my practical session we set up some boxes and different objects and had to draw them within a short time limit. i found this hard as i like to take time with my drawing and add detail. I used charcoal which is not one of my preferred materials i find it hard to use. i wasn't impressed with my my sketches but i hope to improve with charcoal in time

Figure Drawing

Practical Session

i completed these drawings within my practical sessions, we had to draw a classmate whilst in motion. I found it hard to draw the figures whilst they were moving as i had to sketch quite fast and couldn't focus on detail.

Room Drawing

Classroom Study...
This is a drawing i did of one of my classrooms. I chose this view as i wanted to concentrate on the corner of the room. I partly shaded this drawing so that it would show the depth of the door and window.

Room Drawing

My Desk...
I drew this with a 4B Pencil. I chose not to shade this image with too much detail as i am practising the perspective of my room and the angles in which the objects are placed.
